EBC clinic concludes another season

Our team has stowed our supplies away until next springs' climbing season and are home with their families. Many thanks to the tireless efforts and personal sacrifice of our volunteer doctors Ola Dunin-Bell and Suzanne Boyle and of course to Lakpa Norbu who has managed our logistics for 5 years.
After the clinic season closes for the year our fundraising efforts pick up again. In the past few weeks we've seen Everest ER screened at the Telluride Mountain Film festival, have signed on 3 new sponsors and have lined up public talks in several US cities (in the next few weeks Minneapolis, DC, Aspen among others.) Lakpa is enrolled in wilderness first aid training in the US and we will begin to get our next set of volunteers ready for 2008...keeping this operation running is a year round project.
